Tiny Ted

I have just finished knitting a tiny ted. He is only 2.5inches tall, and utterly adorable. He is from a Free Pattern from http://littlecottonrabbits.typepad.co.uk/ It used very little 4ply yarn and was quite quick, if a little fiddly. But I love fiddly, so it was all good.
You can also see tiny ted with babe, she is smitten with him, and wont let him go.

Jester Medieval Mouse

Just finished the Jester mouse from Simply Knitting's Medieval Mouse collection. I am so pleased with how it came out. I actually had to make two because when my friend saw it, she wanted one too!

Walk the Wight

Steve completed the Bembridge to Carisbrooke section (the hilly bit)of the Isle of Wight Walk the Wight today. There was a torrential down pour on the way, and he got very muddy, but he did it! Yippeeee!

The hat had to cope with a lot of rain and being squeezed out- its still looking fine though!

The knitted replica of the village of Mersham, near Ashford, was created by the 40-strong Afternoon Club.

My First Sock

Today I finished my very first sock! I am so chuffed. I had finished the knitting of the sock last week, but had been putting off doing the kitchener stitch but I found a great tutorial

Walk the Wight Hat

I've just finished knitting a hat for Steve from Wightcat Crafts to wear when he Walks the Wight
on Sunday 17th May.
I was very pleased with it. When I started to do the decreases at the top of the hat, I was a bit worried that the ribbing was going askew, but I went with it and it turned out brilliantly.

When I started to knit the hat, we were having a bit of a cold spell, and to support Steve I started to knit...since I have finished it, it has been too warm to wear it! Typical!

(I used Sirdar Country Style 4ply in Magenta)

Cornish Organic Wool Bag

I made this bag using Cornish Organic Wool
I adapted a pattern from Let's Knit Magazine. I changed the brim from stocking stitch which rolled over to ribbing. I also added a crocheted handle
